Rangers star Allan McGregor has been named in the SPFL Team of the Week following his outstanding showing against Celtic on Saturday afternoon.
The Gers triumphed 1-0 in the second Old Firm of the season at Ibrox and McGregor was key to the victory.

The visitors had the best of the opening stages and the veteran keeper was forced into action on three occasions.
One of his saves in particular, from a curling Leigh Griffiths effort that had looked bound for the top corner, was truly world-class and it kept Rangers in the game until the outfield players found their feet.
The introduction of Ianis Hagi at half-time sparked some life into the hosts and after Nir Bitton was sent off in the 62nd minute, McGregor had the pleasure of watching on from the other end as the Gers went in front and then closed out the victory by largely controlling possession.
He was the clear Man of the Match and his contribution to the team’s 18th league clean sheet of 2020/21 could prove to be crucial come to the end of the season, with the win stretching the Gers’ lead at the top of the table to a whopping 19 points.
As a result of his fine display, McGregor has been named in the SPFL Team of the Week, a select XI that has included a Rangers player in almost every edition so far this season.
There was also a surprise inclusion for Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer, despite the Norway international ending up on the losing side.
It’s not the only select XI that has featured players from both sides of the Old Firm this week, though, with many fans praising a former Ibrox star for landing an ‘absolutely perfect’ dig at the Hoops in his own TOTW.
