Rangers loanee Malik Tillman believes the Ibrox outfit may have to win all of their remaining games to lift the Premiership title. But the midfielder does not rule out sealing a 56th crown.

The Gers currently sit second in the top-flight table through 25 games after 19 wins and four draws this season. Rangers are also unbeaten with nine wins and one draw since appointing Michael Beale in November. He replaced Giovanni van Bronckhorst with a contract to 2026.

But despite the club’s record under Beale, Rangers trail Celtic by nine points in the title race. The margin has remained unchanged since the Gers sacked Van Bronckhorst with Celtic also winning nine and drawing one game. The 2-2 Old Firm derby returned that draw in January.

Van Bronckhorst had lost at Parkhead in September, while Ange Postecoglou’s squad came from behind to draw with Beale’s. The Gers will return to Parkhead on April 8 for their final pre-split meeting. Rangers have eight fixtures remaining before the Premiership table splits.

Rangers visit Livingston on Saturday then host Kilmarnock (March 4), visit Hibernian (08/03), travel to Motherwell (18/03) and host Dundee United (01/04) before facing Celtic. The Gers then host St Mirren (15/04) and visit Aberdeen (22/04) before the championship title round.

Malik Tillman believes Rangers can still win the Premiership title this season

Beale will need Celtic to drop more points over the rest of the season than they have so far this term for Rangers to win their 56th Premiership title. Postecoglou’s team have only lost one and drawn one of their 25 matches so far. They lost 2-0 at St Mirren back in September.

Yet Tillman is not giving up hope of winning the Premiership title whilst on loan to Rangers from Bayern Munich. The 20-year-old believes the top-flight crown remains possible all the while it is mathematically possible. Having games with Celtic left to play will also prove vital.

“We play them twice more,” Tillman told Kicker. “If we keep going like this, we have to win every game. Who knows, everyone can leave points behind.”

Tillman has helped Rangers to their 61 points from 25 games having featured in 23 and has started in 18. The four-cap USA international has also scored seven and assisted four goals. Just Antonio Colak (11), Alfredo Morelos (9) and James Tavernier (8) outscore Tillman so far.
