Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos will be made available for selection for the trip to Hamilton and has been told to knuckle down amid exit links to French side Lille, according to a report.

The Daily Record claim the fiery Colombian could return to the Ibrox squad this weekend as Rangers look to keep up their good early form in the Scottish Premiership.

According to the report Morelos has “agreed to refocus” until a move can be arranged for the player who was dropped for the visit of Kilmarnock.

The report comes amid claims from within Colombia that the player has already agreed an £18m (€20m) move to the Ligue 1 side.

Journalists from WinSportsTV initially made the claims [Pepe Sierra] before reports in Scotland shot down any suggestion Lille had returned with a new bid.

According to the Glasgow Times, Rangers are still waiting on the French club to make their next move having rejected a bid of around £16m for the striker [Glasgow Times].

However another Colombian journalist – this time working for Caracol – claimed “it is a fact” that Morelos has arranged a move with the details to be ironed out on Friday.

Yet reports in Scotland are now claiming the player will be available for selection for the Hamilton game which kicks off at 5:30pm on Saturday.

Whatever happens next Morelos clearly has his heart set on a move out of Rangers but the Ibrox club is playing hardball over a fee.

Rangers want £20m for the player and if Lille are to secure the Colombian’s signature all the signs suggest the Gers are unwilling to budge on the asking price.
