Rangers star Glen Kamara has opened up on the atmosphere at Ibrox on a European night, describing the fans as “crazy” and a “bonus” for the side.
The Finnish international has been on sparkling form this season and has cemented himself in Steven Gerrard’s midfield three.
Speaking as the club prepare to face Young Boys for a place in the last 32 of the Europa League, Kamara is hoping the atmosphere propels the side to top of Group G.

“We are setting up to go out there and win the game,” said Kamara [Daily Record].
“The possibility of topping the group is an exciting prospect so we will definitely be going for the victory.
“We came into the competition as fourth seeds in the group, so winning it would be fantastic for us as players and for the football club itself.
“The manager has said he will never play for a draw at Ibrox and that is 100 per cent music to our ears.
“We have been working up to it in training. We are looking forward to it and we will try and win the game.
“The atmosphere at Ibrox on these nights is always a little bonus for us. It’s great to have the fans behind us. It makes it a tough place for other teams to come.
“When you are on the pitch, you hear the atmosphere differently. The fans are old, crazy, wild – all the good things. They are very helpful.”
Kamara goes into the match knowing a yellow card will keep him out of the first leg of whoever Rangers draw in the last 32, should they get there.

The Ibrox club is gearing up for what will hopefully be a historic night in Govan, with Rangers never having topped a four-team group before.
Not that they wouldn’t take just qualifying in second – Steven Gerrard said getting out of the group was the aim even against Feyenoord in Holland [Rangers].
