Glen Kamara has admitted a desire to play in the Premier League but says he’s loving life at Ibrox so far, as quoted by the Scotsman.
The Gers signed the 23-year-old midfielder from Dundee in January for a bargain £50k [Daily Record].

Since then, he’s been a revelation.
Gerrard waited a few weeks before throwing Kamara into the starting lineup. He immediately caught the eye, though, and
However, it seems he’s attracted admirers outside of Glasgow. Last week, TEAMtalk reported that he was being targeted by Brighton.
“Rumours are part of football,” said Kamara, as quoted by the Scotsman. “But nothing concrete has happened, it is just speculation.”
“Yes, it would be a dream to play in the Premier League, but for the moment I am happy to play for Rangers.
“I’ve really enjoyed playing for Rangers. And getting praise from a manager like Steven Gerrard feels really good.
“Sometimes it feels crazy that he’s my manager. You look to the dugout and see him. You have to calm down and not think about it too much in your mind! He is very skilled at managing people. He talks to us and gives us good advice. He is a natural leader. He has proven it and has taken it to next level as a manager.”

Verdict
It should be no great surprise that Kamara’s ‘dream’ is to play Premier League football.
It’s widely regarded as the pinnacle of the club game and having been part of Arsenal’s Academy for several years, he was once within touching distance of that goal.
The key for Rangers is holding onto him for as long as possible. As he only joined in January, he has four years remaining on his contract and the Gers are under no obligation to sell.
Gerrard needs him for next season and given his age, he’s only going to get better. The club are bound to make a substantial profit when he does eventually leave, but let’s hope that’s not for a season or two yet.
It’s clear he’s still pinching himself about the opportunity to work under the Liverpool legend and that should help keep him at Ibrox for now.
