Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is in red hot form at the minute.
Disciplinary problems aside, the 22-year-old is going from strength to strength in front of goal.

He has 27 goals in all competitions. That’s a remarkable number which puts him right up there with Europe’s most prolific forwards.
Yet, he hasn’t had much of an opportunity at international level.
So far, he can boast just a solitary cap for his native Colombia, in a friendly against Venezuela back in September.
That’s not necessarily a slight on him, as La Tricolor have rich resources up front.
Radamel Falcao, Carlos Bacca, Luis Muriel and James Rodriguez are just some of the attacking talents the country have produced in recent years.

However, Morelos recently confirmed his desire to break into the national team.
He was quoted by the Scottish Sun (Sun Goals 11/02/2019, page 10) as saying “I dream everyday of playing for Colombia in the Copa America.”
That was in reaction to the appointment of former Real Madrid manager, Carlos Quieroz, as the new head coach.

Surely, in the vein of form El Buffalo is in, he cannot overlook him in his first squad?
The country’s next scheduled fixtures aren’t until late March, when they are due to take on both Japan and South Korea in friendlies.
With the likes of Falcao and Bacca now into their thirties, surely the new coach will want to breathe fresh life into the team.
If that’s so, Morelos is certainly putting his hand up for selection.
