As a much-changed Rangers side lost a last minute penalty to Premiership rivals St Johnstone, one leading Ibrox star risked the wrath of the Gers legions in the process.
With the clock ticking down £3.5m summer signing Kemar Roofe tried to replicate his wonder goal in Liege and shoot from the halfway line with the club leading 1-0.
However, the shot would quickly turn the ball over before St Johnstone piled up field and won a very soft penalty following an admittedly dozy Jack Simpson challenge on Chris Kane.
That would be a defining moment of the match with St Johnstone hauling themselves back on terms and being honest, the Saints were certainly good for it.
Rangers made seven changes for the match – Roofe amongst them – and it certainly showed as the side struggled to cope with a lot of the St Johnstone pressure.
The Gers went 1-0 up courtesy of a finely taken Scott Wright goal before Roofe thought he’d missed a gilt-edged chance to make it two in the second half before the referee pulled the match back for a tug.
However it was Roofe who’d risk the ire of the Ibrox legions following the final whistle as his poor game management contributed to two points being surrendered in Perth:

Roofe wasn’t the only one who risked the ire of Rangers fans with a late slip-up against St Johnstone, although given the club’s Champions status this season we can probably forgive him.
The Ibrox support also railed against the “embarrassing” decision-making of the matchday referee throughout the game.
