Rangers star Glen Kamara has been called up for a pair of crunch World Cup Qualifiers, as he eyes a major achievement with Finland.
The Nordic nation have never qualified for a World Cup, but they’re in a good position ahead of their final two Group D matches.

Markku Kanerva’s side are currently third in the five-team group. France lead the way on 12 points, Ukraine are second on nine and the Finns have eight.
Crucially, though, Ukraine only have one game remaining. Therefore, while France are big favourites to win the group, Kamara and co.’s bid to land a playoff spot is still in their hands.
They face Bosnia and Herzegovina in Zenica on Saturday 13 November before hosting France in Helsinki three days later.

Finland are ranked below both nations but they have outperformed Bosnia and Herzegovina so far and there’s a chance that reigning world champions France will have already booked their place at Qatar 2022 before they travel to Helsinki.
Kamara has been rated as 50/50 for Rangers’ Europa League clash with Brondby on Thursday after picking up a knock [Rangers FC Twitter] but if he’s even close to full fitness for these games, he’ll be in Kanerva’s starting lineup.
In other news, a Rangers-linked player is receiving rave reviews at an English club for ‘sensational’ performances.
