Rangers star Allan McGregor insists he’s still highly motivated to succeed, despite uncertainty surrounding his long-term future at the club [Rangers.co.uk].
McGregor has made over 350 career appearances for the Gers across two stints and recently broke the club’s European appearance record.

Despite a strong start to the season from Jon McLaughlin, he’s still very much the no.1 keeper at Ibrox.
Yet, his current deal expires in the summer, and Steven Gerrard recently admitted that he wasn’t sure whether or not the 38-year-old will want to sign an extension [Scotsman].
McGregor insists he’s still working as hard as ever, though, and is focused on bringing success back to the club.
“Even at my age you just keep going and going and going and try and better yourself all the time,” he told RYDC [Rangers.co.uk]. “Of course I am still motivated, you need to be when you are playing for this club. There is only one thing to do and that is to win.”
“I think you probably reflect on things when you are not playing any more. Just now I am focused on training and doing my job and trying to win every game.”
“I try my best every day in training and I hope that rubs off on people.”

McGregor may be a veteran, but his reflexes are still as sharp as ever and the former Scotland international has only conceded once in the Premiership this season.
There’s plenty of strength and depth in the goalkeeping department, though.
Jon McLaughlin has impressed since arriving in the summer, while Academy graduate Robby McCrorie, currently on loan at Livingston, is viewed as a potential future Ibrox no.1.
The Gers also have a Scotland youth international on the books who was recently named Player of the Month at his loan club.
