Rangers star Alfredo Morelos has been clipped looking lean and mean as he eyes a proper comeback to the Ibrox side in the coming weeks.
The Gers have really been without their marauding Buffalo for close to six months and boy do the club need the 26-year-old Colombian back in his best shape and form for the weeks ahead.
Rangers have already slipped to five points behind in the title race with Morelos banished to the sidelines amid complaints of attitude and commitment issues at Ibrox.
Rangers boss ready to get Alfredo Morelos firing
The striker was left out of the squad for the trip to PSV Eindhoven and since then has featured sparingly for manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
But after bouncing back from a clash with the Dutch coach Alfredo uploaded a clip of him working out to Instagram and it’s fair to say he’s looking much leaner than in the last few weeks.
With Rangers in desperate need of a fresh spark, Alfredo Morelos can be the man to provide after seeing the start of his season disrupted by injury and form issues.
Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has claimed he aims to help Morelos do exactly that,
“He had a good week to train, but also to think about his future,” said van Bronckhorst.
“As I said before, he is still a Rangers player. I think he is going to be important for us in the next months and this season.
“I saw a change in his attitude, the way he worked. We have to keep working like this for the next coming months to be the player he can be – and a player who can give us a lot.”
Meanwhile, Rangers have been sending a series of tributes after the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II earlier this week.
