Rangers singer releases cover of Oasis song reimagined for Ibrox star

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara had the Gers fans singing in homes up and down the country with his display at the weekend and now he’s got a song to follow it up.

The all-action midfielder is a class apart at times and Rangers fan singer Jodie Pollok uploaded a special homage to the Finnish international to the tune of She’s Electric by Oasis.

The singer played the song in the Fan Zone at Ibrox before the Covid lock-out and decided to upload a recorded version after his performance this weekend.

Jodie admits on Twitter that the catchy song was written by Rangers fan Davie Macintosh and it’s a cover but it’s since racked up over 50k views in just a couple of hours.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

The video and song has been superbly well received by Rangers fans and comes after Glen Kamara was a stand-out in the 2-0 win over Celtic.

The midfielder is emerging as one of the best talents in the middle of the park in Scottish football and Jodie probably couldn’t have put the Ibrox support’s feeling towards the player from this weekend better.

The video also comes after Jodie covered the much loved Oh Rangers, you got me singing the Blues in the run up to the match.

Similarly, Jodie uploaded a video to YouTube of the cover which has since gone on to rack up more than 12.5k views at the time of writing.

Jodie Pollok isn’t the only one who’s found her singing voice this week either with Rangers fans group the Union Bears releasing a new chant for supporters.

The raucous tune was uploaded to the group’s official Twitter page.
