Rangers have secured the signing of former Stenhousemuir boss Brown Ferguson as an Academy coach.
A former midfielder, Ferguson spent three years in charge of The Warriors between 2015 and 2018. Brown Ferguson guided Stenhousemuir to Scottish League One following relegation in 2017.
The new Rangers Academy coach took to Twitter to express his delight at joining the club.

Ferguson said:
“Delighted and honoured to have the opportunity to work with @RangersFC and to be coaching within @RFC_Youth. Outstanding set up and can’t wait to get started 2m.
“An exciting challenge for myself to do the best job possible to support the youth players.”
Brown Ferguson joins a talented backroom staff in the Rangers Academy alongside the likes of Craig Mullholland, Graeme Murty and Peter Lovenkrands.
The Rangers Academy is also set for further investment, with development work on a new stand at the club’s Auchenhowie training complex well under way.

As part of the development,
Rangers are also planning a 216 square metre base for Academy stars.
The securing of Brown Ferguson as a coach at Ibrox is another example of Rangers’ ongoing investment in this area.
Let’s hope he settles in quickly and does a good job nurturing the careers of the young Bears.
