Rangers are set to receive a double boost in the coming days with both Jordan Jones and George Edmundson becoming available for selection.
The duo were suspended by the club in early November for breaching restrictions by attending a party and were subsequently handed seven-match bans by the SFA.
Some angry supporters suggested that their contracts should be ripped up, but Steven Gerrard has made it clear that they are key to his plans going forward [RangersTV], while Jones recently received praise for a classy Christmas gesture towards a fan.
Both players are in contention to feature against Hibernian on Boxing Day.
Amid a busy period for the Gers, their return will be a boost for the group.
With Nikola Katic still out injured, Edmundson will bring much-needed cover at centre-back, while Jones brings the kind of pace and direct running from wide areas that few others in the squad can offer.
Edmundson has made just two appearances so far this season, while Jones has made four and scored in the 5-1 win over Motherwell at Fir Park in September.
The Gers take on third-placed Hibernian at Ibrox on Boxing Day and the Edinburgh club are set to be without a key player for the fixture.
