Rangers send support as bluenose aims to become World’s Strongest Man

Rangers have sent a message to bluenose strongman Tom Stoltman as he begins his quest to become the World’s Strongest Man.

The World’s Strongest Man championships start on Wednesday 11th November with proud Rangers fan Tom performing alongside and against brother Luke.

The championship will run until Sunday the 15th as an array of strongman athletes battle it out for the prestigious title.

Tom Stoltman and brother Luke are both former Scotland’s Strongest Man winners and will be hoping to take the title of the planet’s strongest man for the first time.

The rescheduled event is being held in Brandenton, Florida and the current holder of the World’s Strongest Man title is USA strongman Martins Licis.

Tom Stoltman – who is the younger brother – opens up on his unique career on the Stoltman brother’s official website.

“I have been training since the age of 16 and started strongman at 18,” said Tom [Stoltman Brothers].

“I fell in love the sport instantly. My first comp was Scotland’s Strongest Man at the age of 18 where I came 5th. From that day I wanted to be the best in the world.

“Doing this sport at the highest level with my brother Luke makes it that extra special!

“Training, travelling the world and competing against each other is amazing!
