According to a report in the Daily Record, via the Express, Steve Clarke is under major consideration for the managerial vacancy at Fulham.
The Cottagers sacked their second manager of the season, Claudio Ranieri, yesterday, after a wretched run of form.

The Italian presided over just three wins from 17 matches in charge. Now, the club sit 19th in the Premier League and will require a minor miracle to beat the drop to the Championship.
It seems they may be turning to Killie’s Clarke to steady the ship.
Both Rangers fans and the manager, Steven Gerrard, have clashed with Clarke in recent weeks, over a
series of controversial incidents.

Now, though, the war of words could be coming to an end.
There’s no doubt the 55-year-old has done an excellent job with the Rugby Park outfit.
When he took the reigns, they too were in real danger of relegation, but since then, they have not only survived the drop, but are competing at the top end of the table.

However, the majority of his playing and coaching career has been spent in England.
He will likely return at some stage and this job would be a big one to turn down.
Will he do a Brendan Rodgers and jump ship to the Premier League?
