Rangers are preparing to face Aberdeen at Pittodrie following a resounding 5-0 win against Hearts at Ibrox.
The comfortable win against the Tynecastle club sets up the trip to Scotland’s northeast quite nicely, but Rangers will know they’ll be met with a fight on what promises to be a bitterly cold night in Aberdeen.
The Ibrox side’s stars are well used to the style they’ll expect to meet up north and they need to realise from the first whistle to the last they’ll find themselves in a bruising battle.

This match for Aberdeen and their supporters is like their Old Firm.
They will be determined to peg Rangers back in the title race whilst our other rivals will be looking on expecting us to drop points.
If Rangers can show up and come away with three points in what is one of our most difficult games of the season, it will be symbolic of how serious we are about claiming 55 this season.
If Rangers are going to win the title, Gerrard’s side needs to go to places like Pittodrie and win away from home against the likes of Aberdeen.
Having already battered Aberdeen 5-0 back in September, a rejuvenated Dons side might also be out to exact revenge.
Here’s the full-strength side we expect Steven Gerrard to put out to ensure we do not let that happen.

We foresee two changes from the side which beat Hearts 5-0.
A rested Ryan Jack should come in for Scott Arfield, whilst we see Joe Aribo dropping out for Greg Stewart following comments Gerrard made on his two-goal cameo at the weekend [RangersTV].
