Rangers have been praised by the UEFA Europa League Twitter account after a 2-1 triumph over Aberdeen on Sunday stretched their remarkable Premiership winning streak.
A high-quality brace from Alfredo Morelos was enough to secure the points at Pittodrie, despite Matty Kennedy giving the hosts hope with a goal against the run of play in the 67th minute.
It was a strong performance from Steven Gerrard’s men, who have now won 15 league matches in a row.
The incredible run began with a 5-1 victory at Motherwell in September, with the Gers’ last slip up coming in a 2-2 draw at Easter Road earlier that month.
After AC Milan’s midweek defeat to Juventus in Serie A, Rangers are now one of only three teams in Europe’s ‘Top 12’ leagues to still be unbeaten, alongside Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon and Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine.
Their outstanding form is earning them plaudits across the footballing world and the UEFA Europa League account singled out the Gers to their 7.7m followers on Sunday evening.
“Rangers just keep going,” they wrote alongside two fire emojis. “They have now won their last 15 league games while scoring 42 goals and conceding 4.”

Those numbers show just how dominant the Gers have been in recent months and a goal difference that’s currently 23 better than second-placed Celtic is as good as an extra point in the title race.
There’s still plenty of work to do to end the club’s major silverware drought. Yet, wins over the Hoops and the Dons on consecutive weekends has put Gerrard’s side in an extremely strong position.
The manager wasn’t happy with aspects of his team’s performance at Pittodrie, though, and he vowed to ‘look into’ one matter in particular.
