Rangers have a number of players out of contract at the end of the 2022/23 campaign as Michael Beale and Ross Wilson prepare for a busy summer.
Those at Ibrox have a lot of work to do as they look to make up the ground on Celtic once again, after stagnating in the years since Steven Gerrard brought the Scottish Premiership title back to Rangers.
So, let’s take a look at the Rangers players who are out of contract at the end of the season.

You can see a list of the Rangers players who are set to become free agents at the end of June below.
- Alfredo Morelos
- Ryan Kent
- Steven Davis
- Scott Arfield
- Ryan Jack
- Filip Helander
- Allan McGregor
- Kieran Wright
- Malik Tillman (loan from Bayern Munich expires)

Rangers are expected to trigger their option to buy United States international Tillman on a permanent basis from Bayern Munich this summer, with Goal claiming that it will cost £6m to do so.
James Sands would have been added to the list above as his loan from New York City was set to expire on June 30th.
However, Rangers announced earlier on Wednesday that the 22-year-old’s loan spell at Ibrox had been cut short, and he would be returning to the United States with immediate effect.
While this may sound harsh, it was a necessary decision, and Sands should be the first of many who are shipped out of Glasgow this summer as Beale and Wilson aim to shift a significant amount of deadwood.
Of course, there are some in the list above who must be retained – such as Ryan Kent, for example – although a lot of clever business needs to be done as Celtic find themselves nine points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
