Ianis Hagi has celebrated a ‘special day’ in his first appearance since leaving Rangers for a loan move to Alaves.
Sunday was a difficult day for Rangers supporters everywhere.
A rather toothless display saw the Gers lose 1-0 at home to rivals Celtic as the pressure mounts on Michael Beale.
Beale is seemingly struggling to get his new summer signings to gel with fans still waiting for the likes of Danilo and Cyriel Dessers to click.
Rangers seemed really disjointed in the final third against Celtic with a real lack of connectivity and clarity from midfield to attack.
Half chances came but it all became a bit of a mess as Rangers seemingly chased an equaliser through desperation rather than design.

Some fans were left wondering whether Ianis Hagi could have had an impact on the game in terms of his creativity and guile on the ball.
There was no Hagi to call on though as Beale has decided to send him off on loan to La Liga side Alaves, who had a very different weekend to Rangers.

Luis Garcia’s side beat Valencia 1-0 with Hagi coming off the bench for his debut with just a couple of minutes to play.
The Romanian took to Twitter on Sunday to celebrate a ‘very special day’, thanking fans for their warm welcome whilst celebrating a big victory.
Rangers fans were bombarding Hagi with replies, begging him to come back to Ibrox after Sunday’s damaging defeat.
It would frankly be a surprise to see Hagi play under Beale again but he does still have three years left on his contract, so there could yet be a route back to the Rangers lineup for Hagi.
