Rangers have nominated their main footballing allies, including Hamburg and Linfield, for a social media challenge amid the current break from football [Rangers FC Twitter].
This challenge is the latest way to provide content for fans in these unprecedented times and simply involves naming four legendary past players.
The Gers were nominated by Europa League opponents, Bayer Leverkusen, earlier in the week, with the club issuing a response on Wednesday afternoon.
Davie Cooper, Ally McCoist, Brian Laudrup and Paul Gascoigne were the four players selected.
That’s a pretty impressive list in anyone’s book, with flair and goalscoring ability oozing from the quartet.
The club’s media team then moved to nominate their biggest allies in the game in Linfield, Hamburger SV, Orange County SC and Bengaluru FC.
Relations with the former two clubs are longstanding, with fans of the Northern Irish and German sides feeling a deep affiliation with Bears.

The latter two partnerships are much more recent and more structured.
Indian Super League club, Bengaluru FC, were only formed in 2013 but now have a formal relationship with Rangers, while a multi-faceted partnership between the Gers and Orange County SC was announced as recently as December, much to the delight of fans.
Linfield and Hamburg are the only two clubs to respond to the challenge so far and their lists are included below.
Linfield: Joe Bambrick, Noel Bailie, Tommy Dickson, Glenn Ferguson.
Hamburg: Uwe Seeler, Kevin Keegan, Manni Kaltz, and Rafael van der Vaart.
