The Scottish Sun reports that Jason Holt is set to leave Rangers in this window.
Steven Gerrard left the 26-year-old out of the extended squad which travelled to Portugal on Saturday for an eight-day training camp.
That decision makes it clear that he doesn’t feature in the manager’s plans.
However, it seems he is still rated by a former Rangers boss. The report claims that Holt is set to be reunited with Mark Warburton at QPR.
In so doing, he would join former teammates Lee Wallace and Liam Kelly at Loftus Road.

The midfielder featured regularly under Warburton but was deemed surplus to requirements after Gerrard arrived at Ibrox.
Holt spent last season on loan at Fleetwood Town, making 33 league appearances. He was short of goal contributions last term, but became a highly valued member of Joey Barton’s side.
Verdict
It’s no great surprise that Holt will be leaving Rangers this summer.
Although he played regularly whilst out on loan last season and is a workhorse in midfield, Gerrard has a plethora of options in that area right now.
It’s good that he appears to have secured a move, though, and QPR is a big one at that.
Championship football will represent a step up after his spell in the third tier, but Warburton clearly feels Holt has enough about him to do a job in the highly competitive league.
