It has been a busy day in the transfer market for Rangers.
According to Sportbladet, the club are closing in on a big move for Swedish centre-back Filip Helander.
Elsewhere, exciting 17-year-old forward, Josh McPake, has committed his future to the club by signing a contract extension.

Stephen Kelly has joined Ayr United on loan. The move comes just a day after he netted a hat-trick against them in a friendly.
However, that isn’t the only confirmed Ibrox departure of the day.
It emerged this afternoon, that Cammy Palmer has joined Partick Thistle on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old captained Rangers Reserves to the league title last season and leaves temporarily in search of first-team action. He will join up with former Gers marksman, Kenny Miller, at Firhill.
According to the Thistle website, Palmer will wear the no.16 shirt next season as the Jags look to escape the second tier and return to the SPL.
As is the case with Kelly’s switch to Ayr, this looks a good move for all parties. The Jags are gaining a promising midfield talent, while Palmer now has a realistic chance of playing first-team football.
He’s clearly rated as a player at Ibrox, hence the Reserve team captaincy. However, given how well stocked Gerrard’s midfield is right now, it’s highly unlikely he would have got an opportunity to make a competitive senior debut this season.
