Rangers boss Michael Beale wants to give a first-team chance to goalkeeper Robby McCrorie before the season ends.
The Gers have big decisions to make between the sticks in the coming months.
Allan McGregor’s contract expires this summer and having turned 41 just a couple of weeks ago, it may be time for a change.
Jon McLaughlin has been a decent backup stopper but at 35, he isn’t the long-term answer either.
The expectation is that Rangers will go and sign a new goalkeeper this summer and lock down the position for years to come.
The Sun report that Rangers are already exploring a potential £3million deal for Norwich City goalkeeper Angus Gunn.
Yet there is one goalkeeper being forgotten about here – Robby McCrorie.

Michael Beale promises Rangers chance for Robby McCrorie
McCrorie has risen up through the Rangers ranks from the age of 14 but has made just two first-team appearances.
Loans to Berwick Rangers, Greenock Morton, Queen of the South and Livingston have given McCrorie valuable experience but haven’t taken him closer to action at Rangers.
Now 25, McCrorie needs to be playing regular games – but did sign a new deal until 2025 earlier this season.
Manchester United are understood to be keen on McCrorie as they look to add goalkeeping competition, with Erik ten Hag showing an interest last summer.
If the Red Devils like McCrorie, surely he deserves to be given a chance between the sticks for Rangers?
Michael Beale seemingly feels similarly and wants to see McCrorie in action soon enough.
Beale has told the Daily Record that he wants to give McCrorie the same first-team chances as McLaughlin and McGregor, as he needs to understand what he has at Ibrox.
That may well come towards the end of the season but if McCrorie gets a chance, he must take it.
“I want to give Jon access to playing because he’s been here a long time and he did well in the season we won the title. I want to give Robby the same opportunity as well. Allan understands that because of his age. He knows I have to see what’s here,” said Beale.
