Rangers media partners Heart & Hand have criticised the hypocrisy of controversial First Minister Humza Yousaf and comments made about a live police investigation.
The under pressure politician was speaking as the house of former First Minister Nicolas Sturgeon and husband turned SNP CEO Peter Murrell is raided by police with the latter detained.
Humza Yousaf was asked about the investigation and his comments will certainly interest Rangers fans.
The outspoken and largely unpopular politician claimed that he was in no position to comment on a live Police case.
“As you’ll understand I can’t comment on a live police investigation,” said Humza Yousaf.
“But what I can say and what reassurance I absolutely can give is that the SNP has been fully co-operating in that police investigation and will continue to do so.”

These comments come despite Humza Yousaf doing precisely that – commenting on a live police investigation – in the aftermath of Rangers winning the Premiership title in 2021.
This concerns the obviously fake video of Rangers players signing sectarian add ons to Sweet Caroline as they celebrated winning 55.
Despite cohort James Dornan promising to apologise it the video was found to be fake – with Police Scotland announcing as much days later – Humza Yousaf would then double down regarding the behaviour of Rangers fans during the trophy day celebrations, a completely unrelated issue.
In reality, this was a leading Scottish politician – the justice secretary at the time – not just commenting on a live police investigation but heaping public pressure on it and dragging public attention to it.
Rangers fans have long memories and club media partners Heart & Hand have taken aim at the politician on social media, sharing a copy of his original tweet.
Yousaf certainly isn’t winning many fans in Scottish politics and it’ll be hard to criticise Rangers fans for indulging in the pain of the First Minister’s disastrous start in the role.
It’s not the first time Rangers fans have turned the screw on Humza Yousaf either.
The behaviour of Humza Yousaf after the clash with Rangers fans also had one rival politician claiming he was “not fit” for the high office he holds in the country.
