Rangers technical director Mark Allen has hinted that Rangers’ transfer business is all but done in the current window.
The Rangers recruitment team have worked hard this summer and have already got eight deals over the line.
And whilst Allen acknowledges the club will work all the way up to the close of the window on securing new talent, the former Man City Academy boss hinted that Rangers have “pretty much” concluded their transfer business.

“The transfer window closes in the early part of September this year, so we will go right to the wire, and like all things, if we think there is something out there which can add to what we have already got and we think will make us better, my job is to make that case to the board and see where we get to,” explained Allen to RangersTV.
“I think it is fair to say we are pretty much done, but you will always be looking to fine-tune and we will take it to the wire before we make that decision.”
The suggestion that business is “pretty much done” at Ibrox means we may well be unlikely to sign another player this window.
Unless of course Allen and the club are holding their cards close to their chest.

The transfer of Daniel Candeias might also kick Rangers into action, with a replacement needed for the right-winger.
And of course, there’s also the ongoing transfer saga concerning Ryan Kent [STV] which has rumbled on all summer long.
Whilst Allen has suggested our business is done, we could still see some movement at the club yet.
