Kevin Muscat to Rangers links
One of the key names in the mix so far is Kevin Muscat.
The former Rangers defender is currently managing in Japan with Yokohama F. Marinos having replaced Ange Postecoglou in 2021.
TalkSPORT reported on Monday that Muscat is keen to hold talks with Rangers before The Daily Record went one step further.
They suggested that Muscat has shelved contract talks with Yokohama F. Marinos in order to keep a door open for Rangers.
It’s unclear whether Muscat is an absolute top target for Rangers but he seems very keen to make the move happen.

Muscat wins big AFC Champions League game
Yokohama F. Marinos have actually been in action today as they attempted to put the Muscat rumours behind them.
Shandong Taishan were their opponents with a big AFC Champions League clash taking place over in China.
Muscat saw his side claim a vital win with Kota Mizunuma scoring the only goal of the game for a Marinos side who dominated the game with 61% of possession and over 200 more passes than the opposition.
