Rangers have made an off-field appointment this week as their search to fill other big positions continues.
The Light Blues are still on the lookout for a new chief executive to replace James Bisgrove who left for Saudi.
A full-time chairman is also needed with a John Bennett replacement high up on the agenda.
John Gilligan has been doing the job in the interim but the club need the stability in the boardroom of a new chair on a permanent basis.

Gers are also believed to want a technical – or sporting – director to help with the day-to-day running of the club alongside both manager Philippe Clement and director of recruitment Nils Koppen.
But fans will be pleased to know that one other position has been officially filled this week.
It might not be the most pressing issue for the club but the support can take solace in the idea that one job has been confirmed which could hopefully point towards more in the not too distant future.
According to the Companies House, Rangers have successfully hired Graham Horsman as their new secretary.

Documents were filed by the club which confirmed Mr Horsman’s new position having already been in the door since January.
Mr Horsman has been acting as the club’s football legal counsel since the beginning of the year but will now take over as secretary on a permanent basis.

The resignation of former director Creag Robertson was also confirmed this morning.
