Rangers are reportedly considering a €6m move for Anderlecht striker Kemar Roofe, 27, with the Belgian club open to offers for the former Leeds United forward.
That’s according to Voetbal24, who claim the purple and white “could still sell the attacker” with Rangers refusing to “give up the fight”.
The report also claims Rangers have had an attempt to sign Roofe rebuffed by the striker and are considering a deal worth “6 million euros”.

It’s a bold claim and comes after Rangers boss Steven Gerrard had previously claimed that Rangers are on the hunt for more strength in depth in attack.
The Ibrox gaffer revealed he wants a third striker after a lack of strength in depth was exposed by injury and suspension to frontmen Jermain Defoe and Alfredo Morelos last season.
“Hopefully you will see some additions if we can pull off what we are trying to do in the transfer market,” said Gerrard [Daily Record].
“It was quite evident after the winter break, when we were getting suspensions or Jermain had his injuries, that we lacked a bit of firepower.
“So that is definitely one area we are looking at.”
Rangers have reportedly been long term admirers of Roofe, with the Ibrox club linked to the former Leeds United forward last season before he eventually moved to Anderlecht for £7m.
The suggestion in these reports are that the Belgian side – now managed by François Vercauteren – would look to recoup a high percentage of that outlay.
Roofe himself has previously discussed the links to Rangers earlier in the month as he spoke to the Daily Record.
“I will stay at Anderlecht until someone tells me otherwise,” said Roofe.

“I don’t know whether Rangers made an offer for me. I’m happy here. My head is 100 percent with Anderlecht. As for Glasgow, I don’t think I’ve ever set foot in Scotland in my life.”
Roofe hit seven goals and ten assists for the Jupiler Pro League side in a debut Belgian season hampered by injury.
