Rangers loanee Serge Atakayi scores sweet strike for Finnish side SJK

Rangers loanee Serge Atakayi has found the net for loan side SJK Seinajoki against Finland’s biggest club.
His sweet strike from outside the box found the bottom corner and had SJK ahead. But the current Finnish league leaders couldn’t hold on against HJK Helsinki, who scored late on to make it 2-2.
It’s great to see young Congolese-born Finnish winger get on the scoresheet for the side. Serge joined SJK in April and will remain there until the end of the Finnish season in October.

The highly-rated youngster joined Rangers from FF Jaro after becoming the youngster scorer in Veikkausliiga history after scoring as a 16-year-old.
He is highly rated at Ibrox and made his full Rangers debut this season. The youngster came on as a substitute as Rangers hammered Motherwell 7-1 back in November.
Atakayi is eligible to play for both Finland and DR Congo and even earned a call up to the African nation in March this year.

The 20-year-old is contracted to Ibrox until 2020 and there are high hopes he can make the grade at Ibrox.
Scoring goals in the Veikkausliiga will certainly do Serge Atakayi no harm in doing just that.
The draw keeps SJK sitting top of the Finnish league after eight games.
