Rangers loanee Zak Rudden was dropped by Plymouth Argyle for Saturday afternoon’s clash against Bradford City.
The 19-year-old is highly-rated at Ibrox and earned a clean sweep of awards for his goalscoring exploits whilst on loan at Falkirk in the Scottish Championship last season.

However, he’s found strikes harder to come by in EFL League Two.
To date, Rudden, who suffered niggling knee injuries in pre-season and in late September, has scored just twice and is yet to register an assist in 14 appearances for the Pilgrims [Transfermarkt].
Ahead of Saturday’s 3pm kick-off at Home Park, manager Ryan Lowe reported a clean bill of health across his squad [Plymouth Live], meaning that the Gers loanee, who was an unused substitute at Forest Green last week, was available for the fixture.
Yet, there was no place for him in the squad, with Byron Moore and Joel Grant leading the line and fellow forwards Ryan Taylor and Dominic Telford appearing from the bench in a 2-1 win.

It’s clear there’s plenty of competition in the striking department right now and unfortunately, Rudden looks to be down the pecking order.
He’ll be hoping that more minutes and goals will come his way in the run-up to Christmas, as the fixtures begin to pile up.
After four wins from their last five games, Argyle are up to eighth in the fourth tier of English football and are chasing an immediate return to League One following last season’s relegation.
