Rangers loanee Cedric Itten likely impressed Steven Gerrard on Friday by scoring against German giants Bayern Munich.
Itten secured a surprise loan move to Bundesliga newcomers Greuther Furth on deadline day after falling further down the Ibrox pecking order following the arrival of Fashion Sakala.

Rangers have an option to recall the Switzerland international in January but Furth claim they have the option to sign him permanently in the summer.
The Gers loanee started recent defeats to Wolfsburg and Hertha Berlin but was benched for the visit of Bayern on Friday night.
It was always going to be a big ask for the newly-promoted side to get something out of the game, despite their home advantage, given the remarkable squad of players that opposition manager Julian Nagelsmann has at his disposal.
Thomas Müller opened the scoring in the tenth minute and when the lead was doubled by Joshua Kimmich in the 31st minute, a hammering looked likely.
However, a red card for Benjamin Pavard just after half-time caused the champions to ease off a little and they would only score once more, with Sebastian Griesbeck putting through his own net midway through the second period.
Itten was introduced off the bench with only 14 minutes remaining as the hosts went in search of a consolation goal and he delivered with just three minutes of normal time remaining.

After being picked out by a cross from the right, the 24-year-old powered a header beyond Manuel Neuer and into the bottom left corner from around six yards out.
It was his first Bundesliga goal and judging by the joyous reaction of the home fans, it meant a lot to witness their club net against Bayern for the first time since returning to the top flight.
The Light Blues aren’t short of attacking options right now, but if Itten makes a habit of scoring against high-quality opposition over the coming months, a recall may be considered in January.
Meanwhile, a ‘top talent’ sold by Rangers in the summer has had a ‘nightmare’ start at his new club.
