Last week, as reported by Not The Old Firm, Rangers loanee Glenn Middleton removed all content pertaining to his adopted side Hibernian, from his social media accounts.
The unexplained move sparked speculation that he may be unsettled and primed to return to Ibrox [Glasgow Evening Times].

However, developments today appear to have brought an end to that theory.
Rangers loanee Middleton reverses social media move
The 19-year-old restored all Hibs related posts to his Instagram, ahead of Scotland U21s’ fixture in the Czech Republic.
Middleton is due to spend the entire 2019/20 season on loan at the Edinburgh club in an attempt to refine his game through regular playing time.
The presence of Sheyi Ojo, Ryan Kent, Jamie Murphy and Brandon Barker meant that his chances would have been limited at Ibrox, but he’s been used regularly by Paul Heckingbottom at Easter Road.
He’s made seven appearances in all competitions, registering two assists [Transfermarkt]. However, he’s yet to score for the Hibees.

If social media is anything to go by, it looks as though there’s no rift and he’ll be staying in the capital for the foreseeable.
Given that fellow loan winger Jake Hastie has been banging them in during his stint at Rotherham United, though, Middleton will need to look to contribute more regularly as the season progresses if he’s to stand a chance of breaking back into the Gers side during 2020/21.
