Rangers loanee Glenn Middleton has told HibsTV that he believes he’s already added to his game at Easter Road.
The 19-year-old winger joined the Edinburgh club on loan last month, and so far, has made six appearances.
The most recent of which came against Celtic at the weekend, and across his 71 minutes on the pitch, he helped secure the Hibees a point while doing his parent club a big favour.

Rangers loanee Middleton on his learning curve
“I have learnt a lot over the last couple of weeks that chasing back and winning the ball off your man is sometimes as important as scoring or creating a goal,” Middleton told HibsTV. “It just adds to the momentum of the team.”
“It gets us up the pitch but also stops them getting forward as well.
“Obviously we are happy with the point, but we definitely feel like we should have won the game. We had chances, but at the same time things haven’t gone our way.”

Verdict
A vast number of promising Rangers players are out on loan across the UK, with getting the chance to play first-team football and to learn from the experience, the main aims for all of them.
Therefore, it’s good to see Middleton identifying a need to work harder out of possession during what has been a tough start to the season for the Hibees.
The Gers have a remarkable number of wingers on the books, so Middleton is going to need a lot of strings to his bow to break back through at Ibrox next season.
Work ethic is key, but he’ll be keen to start producing numbers in the final third, too. The £360k-rated wide man has two assists so far from his six outings but is yet to find the net for his adopted side [Transfermarkt].
