Rangers loanee Ross McCrorie says he believes he will eventually come good for Portsmouth, as quoted by The News, Portsmouth.
The 21-year-old is several months into a season-long loan stint, but things haven’t worked out so far.
After being sent off on debut, he’s struggled to nail down a spot in the side, spending time at both right-back and in central midfield.

The Gers Academy graduate isn’t unduly concerned, though.
‘It is still early days,” said McCrorie, as quoted by the News, Portsmouth. “I don’t think it is a big issue as I was only out of the team for four games.”
“We have got a lot of games to catch up on because there have been a lot of cancellations so we’ll see how it goes. Fans definitely haven’t seen the best of me.
“I think I’ve still got a lot to offer and I can certainly show how good I am. It is up to me really to earn a place to play. I’ll always give my all, I’m solid defensively and like to go forward quite a bit as well.”

Verdict
McCrorie has always come across as a level headed player, even after starring for the Gers first team in an Old Firm win last December.
Clearly, with just eight appearances under his belt for Pompey, who are struggling down in 16th in EFL League One, things haven’t gone to plan so far.
The Scotland U21s skipper returned to the XI and helped his side to a clean sheet against Lincoln City on Tuesday night, though, and therefore, he’s likely to feature again away at Bristol Rovers on Saturday afternoon.
As he has rightly pointed out, his adopted side are just 12 games into a 44 game league season. Therefore, there’s plenty of time to put things right.
Just because things haven’t been plain sailing up until now, doesn’t mean this can’t evolve into a successful stint south of the border.
