One-time Rangers linked Hearts teenager Aaron Hickey has secured a glamour move to Italian Serie A side Bologna – with the move revealed in incredible style.
Rangers were linked to Hickey, 18, when sporting director Ross Wilson took the reins last season and amid interest from Old Firm rivals Celtic and Bayern Munich, the player has settled on northern Italy.
As Bologna announced the move, they took to Twitter to unveil an eye-catching video of Scottish landscapes and the Loch Ness monster in announcing the player.

Rangers’ reported interest in Hickey played out in the press as then Jambos boss Craig Levein fielded questions on the subject.
Levein laughed off the suggestion Rangers could move for Hickey and joked that the Tynecastle side could launch a bid for Morelos.
“Who do we play at the weekend? We’re going to put an offer in for [Alfredo] Morelos tomorrow,” said Craig Levein [Edinburgh Evening News].
“I’m taking that one with a lump of salt.
“I’m still working on [a new contract for Hickey]. I want to just try and get it done with his dad and then I’ll talk about it.”
In the last few months Rangers have scarcely been mentioned amongst the suitors tailing the youngster but this has been one of the most interesting sagas of the Scottish window.
Hearts are believed to have struck a £1.5m deal with Bologna over the player, with 30% going to Old Firm rivals and former club Celtic [Herald].
