Sheffield United midfielder and reported pre-contract Rangers target John Lundstram played the full 90 minutes as the Blades inflicted a shock defeat on Premier League challengers Manchester United.
Chris Wilder’s side ran out 2-1 winners at Old Trafford in only their second win of the season with the Bramall Lane club 10 points from safety in the division.

Centre-back-turned-midfielder Kean Bryan opened the scoring for Sheffield United in the first half before £80m United man Harry Maguire equalised.
But Scotland international and ex-Celtic forward Oliver Burke would steal a vital three points for the Premier strugglers with Lundstram yellow carded in the match.
Rangers were heavily linked with a move for Lundstram in the summer with the player’s current deal expiring at the end of the campaign [Athletic].
Sheffield United boss Wilder has previously expressed his frustrations at Lundstram failing to sign a new deal with the midfielder open to leaving the club at the end of the season [BBC Sport].
With his future up in the air it remains to be seen where he will be come the next campaign but you can bet whatever happens this won’t be the last time you hear Lundstram mentioned alongside Rangers.
