Rangers-linked Peterborough United player Siriki Dembele scored an injury-time winner as the Posh defeated QPR 2-1 in the EFL Championship.
Peterborough have had a difficult start to the season following promotion from League One and with only three wins from 13 matches prior to this London derby at the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday afternoon, they were in need of a positive result.

After a goalless first half, things took a turn for the worse in the 50th minute when Ilias Chair put the visitors 1-0 up.
It only took the hosts six minutes to level things again through Harrison Burrows, though, and in the 91st minute, Dembele completed a dramatic comeback.
After being played in behind the QPR defence, he impressively held off centre-back Jimmy Dunne before stabbing a finish beyond keeper Seny Dieng and into the bottom left corner.
Back in December 2020, Peterborough’s sporting director Barry Fry claimed that the Gers and Celtic had watched Dembele on several occasions [Peterborough Telegraph] and speculation has continued on and off since then.
The rapid 25-year-old attacker is in the final year of his contract and several English clubs are also said to be interested in him, but the Peterborough Telegraph claimed during the summer that the player would prefer a move to Scotland.
His younger brother Karamoko’s presence at Celtic may give the Hoops an advantage in any potential future Old Firm transfer battle, but if he keeps producing impressive contributions, the Gers could look to up the ante with a big contract offer.
Dembele now has four goals and two assists from 13 Championship appearances this season.
In other news, an exciting striker made a scoring return and two subs delivered as Rangers B made a winning return to Lowland League action.
