Rangers linked striker Kevin Nisbet has continued his impressive scoring form into 2020, with the Dunfermline man netting in a win over Dundee on Friday evening.
In mid-November, the Glasgow Times reported that the Gers were ‘keeping tabs’ on the 22-year-old and had had him watched on several occasions by scouts.
At that point in the season, Nisbet had a strong goalscoring record, with 11 goals in 19 appearances in all competitions.
The suggested Rangers interest appears to have inspired him further, though, with the Glasgow-born attacker only failing to score in three of ten matches since that report was published.

When he put the Pars two goals to the good at East End Park on Friday, it was his 15th in his last 13 matches and 11th since the Gers were credited with an interest [Soccerbase].
This most recent addition to his tally was no tap in, either.
Picking the ball up just inside the opposition’s half, he bombed down the left-wing, dropped his shoulder to cut inside onto his right foot, and then curled a right-footed finish into the far corner from the edge of the area.
It was the work of a striker brimming with confidence and it’s another reminder of his abilities at a time when the Gers look short of attacking options.
Alfredo Morelos is set to miss the weekend trip to Hearts through suspension, while Greg Stewart is injured [Rangers TV]. Therefore, unless 18-year-old Dapo Mebude is drafted in, with Jermain Defoe leading the line, there may not even be a striker on the bench.
With Tyrese Campbell now off the market after signing a four-and-a-half-year deal with Stoke City [Stokecityfc.com], the Gers have to look elsewhere and Nisbet is certainly pressing his case.
He’s unproven in the top-flight, but his current form suggests he’s outgrown the second-tier and could well be ready for the step up.
