Rangers-linked Feyenoord winger Crysencio Summerville will leave the Dutch club this summer, according to a report in Holland.

RTV Rijnmond are claiming that the De Kuip club are set to cash in on the talented 18-year-old winger who has been stalling over signing a new contract.

That report claims that the “book is closed” for Summerville at Feyenoord and now it seriously looks like the player will move on this season.

Feyenoord sporting director Frank Arnesen also spoke out about the situation amid claims the player has been demoted to the Feyenoord U21s.

“We have agreed on a deadline with each other, with the question whether he will accept our offer or not,” said Arnesen [Rijnmond].

“He has said that he is going to look for something else and that he is fully within his rights.

“I think it is a great pity that he does not go along with our philosophy for the future.”

The news come after Voetbal International claimed the Eredivisie outfit were unable to agree terms on an extension with the winger sixth place in the De Kuip side’s pecking order.

The same report also claims that Feyenoord rejected a “seven-figure” offer for the talented 18-year-old from Premier League Wolves.

Rangers were linked with a move for Summerville by the same publication back in July after the Dutch youth international impressed on-loan at ADO Den Haag last season.

Summerville made 21 Eredivisie appearances for the Dutch side whilst on loan, scoring twice and registering three assists.

According to Voetbal International, Rangers, Wolves and RB Salzburg are three of several foreign clubs interested in snapping up the creative young talent.

Summerville himself has also previously spoken out about the reported interest from the Gers but despite reaffirming his commitment to Feyenoord, it appears contract talks have stalled.

“The teams that are interested in me are beautiful clubs,” said Summerville [Voetbal Primeur].

“But that would be another step for me and I don’t think about moving at all. All my thoughts are with Feyenoord.

“It’s not even about just next season, it’s about the long-term and I want to feel Feyenoord trust me.

“I want to play at De Kuip every week and be one of the club’s important players.”

With one year left on his current deal, if Summerville cannot get assurances about his long and short-term future at De Kuip he may well be on the move this summer.
