Rangers legend Nacho Novo has never been one to keep quiet on controversial issues.

The wee striker is a cult hero to Rangers fans and is amongst the most passionate ex-players around. He spoke to Rangers News last month about “Celtic bias” in Scotland and the negative influence of the press.

And after Alfredo Morelos’ had an appeal thrown out for diving, the wee striker has taken to social media to have his say on those he feels are “killing the game”.

In the astonishing tirade Nacho doesn’t hold back as he guns for the SFA.

The Spaniard takes aim at Celtic Chief Peter Lawwell, the Governing Body and those he claims are “destroying the game”. The former Rangers hero then goes on to say that decisions such as this are “getting out of control”.

He certainly can’t be accused of holding back.

It’s a sentiment felt by many Rangers fans who remain dumbfounded the yellow card wasn’t overturned.

Alfredo Morelos is often subject to retrospective treatment of this kind. But any claims that Alfredo’s reputation precedes him cannot be used to justify poor refereeing.

Whether you agree with Nacho’s angry post or not, it certainly looked like the decision should’ve been overturned.
