Rangers legend Nacho Novo has left USA Soccer League side Lexington after enjoying a brief spell as manager.
The former Ibrox striker, 44, took to Instagram to announce his departure from the club at the end of the American season.
It comes after Nacho Novo had taken a brief spell in charge of Lexington as manager, the Spaniard appointed on an interim basis back in September.
Writing on the stories section of Instagram, Nacho Novo said:
“Well today I said bye to Lexington. It was a good season.
“Thanks to all the fans and players. Good luck for next season.”

Nacho Novo says bye to Lexington after brief manager stint
Nacho Novo says goodbye to Lexington after a brief stint in charge as manager, but it’s not how the striker started out at the US club.
Back in September we wrote about how Nacho Novo had overcome a series of health scares to take the top job at the Kentucky outfit.
This was after previous gaffer Sam Stockley had moved upstairs to focus on a Director of Football role.
Nacho Novo had previously been in charge of the club’s U23s team and had worked as Stockley’s assistant with the Lexington first team.
Nacho had previously expressed his delight at being appointed for the role, with Lexington announcing Novo as coach back in November 2022.
Unfortunately Nacho failed to win any of his five games in charge of Lexington, drawing three games and losing two with the third tier US side.
It comes after the former Dundee and Raith Rovers striker was linked with the likes of the Glentoran job in Northern Ireland as he looked to get into coaching.
A Rangers Hall of Famer, Nacho Novo remains a popular figure amongst the Ibrox support after spending six years with the club.

Novo infamously turned down an approach from Old Firm rivals Celtic to sign on at Rangers and from there went to to become a legend at Ibrox.
Playing 255 times and scoring 73 goals, Nacho Novo won six honours at Ibrox including three Scottish Premiership titles.
The striker also etched himself into Ibrox history by scoring the winning penalty against Fiorentina which secured the club’s place at the 2008 UEFA Cup Final in Manchester.
