The Rangers fan base has already shown they will offer their world-famous support to Lauren and we’re looking forward to involving Lauren in a number of club activities in the near future.”

The announcement of the partnership came alongside Jones launching a brand new website and the 24-year-old spoke to RangersTV as the Castore Ambassador spoke to Rangers TV.

“It’s been incredible to be honest, completely overwhelming,” said Jones.

“The support’s been crazy. Initially I got involved as a Castore athlete and wanted to promote the deal for them but I’ve just been completely adopted by the Rangers family.

“I feel fully invested in the club, previously I had interest in Rangers and followed their progress, but I’m really excited to get to Ibrox and share the journey.”

Jones also took the time to talk to exciting new Rangers media project This is Ibrox, where she opened up further on her own ambitions, competitiveness and drive for success.

The wheelchair tennis star opened up on the reaction from Rangers fans when she first promoted the club’s relationship with Castore.

“I was a bit scared because I was like have I made this look like I’ve always been a massive Rangers fan?” Jones told This is Ibrox.

“I was simply supporting the brand and I was excited for Rangers and obviously I do have the connection with Murts and that was the connection I was referring too.

“I was just excited to share that news but the support I’ve had from the fans and from the club themselves has been completely overwhelming.”
