Rangers lauded by club’s support for classy response to incident

Rangers fans have lauded the club for their classy response to the ongoing Covid-19 breach which rocked the club’s support.

With Rangers on the verge of a legendary 55^th title reports emerged initially that at least four first-team stars were at a party which was broken up by police.

The ensuring fall-out was dominated by the rumour-mill and misinformation with fans and rivals in equal measure passing judgment on the situation without really having an idea about it.

Similarly, to that situation with Jordan Jones and George Edmundson earlier in the season, Rangers have controlled the press narrative in-house, even if this time it was somewhat delayed.

The Ibrox side released a video detailing the specifics of the case this afternoon in which they put an end to conjecture by naming the five players involved.

Steven Gerrard took control of the situation and expressed his deep disappointment over the situation at the club.

Rangers boss Gerrard also took the opportunity to dismiss earlier reports that a key Ibrox first teamer was involved in the breach.
