Rangers kid Ciaran Dickson has been pictured in Gers training ahead of the club’s match with Standard Liege as he works towards a European debut with the side.
The 18-year-old midfielder has been involved in previous Europa League squads and made his first-team debut from the bench in the 4-0 win over Falkirk at the weekend.

Dickson looked a confident and direct midfield option for the club and Rangers supporters were delighted to see one of their own make the breakthrough into the first team squad.
Now, as the Gers look towards securing qualification for the Round of 32 this evening, Dickson was pictured training with the first-team ahead of the match [Rangers].
Whilst this match may come too soon for the youngster to make his European debut it is certainly another chance for Dickson to be involved in a matchday squad for such a huge match.
The midfielder – who made his debut alongside fellow Gers kid Leon King, 16, over the weekend – also earned the praise of Steven Gerrard for his 30-minute display against the Bairns.
“I thought young Dicksy was terrific,” said Gerrard.
“He played with energy, he played with personality and he played with character. He’s the type who will never let me down.

“He’s probably had a similar upbringing to myself where he knows what it means to represent Rangers and the shirt so we gave him an opportunity to come train with us five or six weeks ago and he’s been terrific every single day. He’s earned that opportunity today.”
Dickson isn’t the only player who’s been spied in Rangers training either – the club has been boosted by the return of another Academy star in the latest round of snaps from the Training Centre.
