A Rangers clip of Jude Bellingham lambasting a Borussia Dortmund teammate is at the centre of shock claims surrounding the now Real Madrid midfielder.

According to reports in Germany, the Bundesliga outfit’s squad are happy to see the back of the 20-year-old England international following a reported £115m move to La Liga.

This comes amid claims that Jude Bellingham’s attitude towards his Borussia Dortmund teammates harboured resentment in the squad.

According to Bild, the Borussia Dortmund team took particular umbrage to the way they were spoken to by the midfielder whose high standards caught the eye of Rangers fans in 2021.

Jude Bellingham slaughters Dortmund star v Rangers

A clip of Jude Bellingham slaughtering defender Nicolas Schulz for a misplaced pass during Rangers’ victorious Europa League win over Borussia Dortmund went viral at the time.

This clip is being held up as an example of what the Borussia Dortmund team experienced with Jude Bellingham, even if the midfielder won the respect of Rangers fans during the tie.

Speaking in glowing terms about the club, Ibrox Stadium and congratulating Rangers after the match, perhaps the midfielder’s high standards resonate on some level at Ibrox.

On top of claims that Jude Bellingham was too critical of his teammates, despite being handed the Dortmund captain’s armband, there were other issues at Signal Iduna Park.

The report claims Jude Bellingham would aim to be the centre of attention with fans, waiting until other players had approached supporters before doing so alone, the midfielder jealous of the adulation afforded to Erling Braut Haaland.

It’s being claimed that Jude Bellingham was also moody during his time in Germany, something which contributed to a stink in Dortmund which still appears to linger.

Not that Rangers, Jude Bellingham or Real Madrid will mind.

Rangers progressed in the Europa League tie whilst Jude Bellingham has earned a money-spinning move to Real Madrid where there are big hopes for the England star.

The midfielder scored on his debut for Real Madrid in a 2-0 La Liga win over Athletic Bilbao and we’re sure one Rangers legend will be happy to see his man starting so well.
