Rangers Football Club has taken part in the nationwide #clapforcarers in support of the NHS and healthcare workers across the country.
People from across the UK came together for a special clap from their windows and doorsteps to thank the NHS workers who’re on the frontline of the battle against the global pandemic.
Designed to show the country’s appreciation for the work these incredible people are doing, Rangers posted a round of applause of their own on Twitter.
The decision to join in on the special clap for our healthcare workers comes amid a sustained campaign from Rangers to advise supporters during the crisis.
Pointing to government advice, Rangers have regularly advised supporters to stay home in order to protect the NHS.
The club has also opened up the Albion car park at Ibrox [Club 1872] for use by NHS workers during the crisis.
Joining in the clap for carers is just another example of the support and adulation Rangers are giving the health service.
As the country goes through one of its most extreme periods in a generation, it is the NHS workers who are on the frontline sacrificing themselves for the good of everyone.

The least people can do is stay indoors to ensure that the country’s health service isn’t stretched beyond capacity due to a preventable high number of cases.
The touching tributes from Rangers highlight the NHS workers as the true heroes of this national health crisis.
