Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara becomes the latest Ibrox injury amid news he has pulled out of the Finland squad.
The 27-year-old midfielder was set to be involved in the nation’s upcoming friendly matches with North Macedonia in Skopje and Norway in Oslo.

But now the Finland FA have moved to confirm that Glen Kamara will no longer be available for selection for the matches.
“Suffering from leg problems, Glen Kamara and Fredrik Jensen will miss the North Macedonia and Norway matches.”
The news comes as Rangers hobble to the World Cup break nine points behind Celtic and with a series of high-profile injuries.
Connor Goldson, Filip Helander, John Souttar, Ridvan Yilmaz, Ianis Hagi, Tom Lawrence, Fashion Sakala and Kemar Roofe are also suffering from problems.
Glen Kamara Finland injury news comes amid bust-up reports
Glen Kamara was also reportedly involved in something of a bust-up with manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst at the weekend.
The Athletic had claimed that Glen Kamara was left frustrated after van Bronckhorst subbed the Finland star at half time in the eventual 1-1 draw with St Mirren.
But whilst the news has spread online and fanned the flames of rumours Gio has lost the Rangers squad, Kamara’s camp have snapped back.
The player’s lawyer Aamer Anwar has refuted the claims and slammed the suggestion of unprofessionalism on the part of the Rangers star.
A statement appearing via the Daily Record reads:
“Glen is the utmost professional and has always respected the decisions the manager makes – his position is that there was absolutely no disagreement & any attempt to say there was is based on pure speculation or falsehood.”
Rangers star Glen Kamara has made 48 appearances for the Finland national team, scoring once.
Joining Rangers from Dundee for £50k in January 2019, the midfielder has gone on to make 174 appearances for the Light Blues.
But might Rangers regret not cashing in on the player back in the summer?
