Rangers duo Ryan Jack and Brandon Barker could miss the Europa League tie with Lincoln Red Imps after limping off of the weekend’s win over Dundee United.

Jack and Barker were two of four players who were injured in the 4-0 drubbing of the Arabs as Leon Balogun pulled out in the warm-up and Alfredo Morelos was stretchered off.

Jack is believed to have a calf issue whilst Barker appeared to pull his hamstring in the first half.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard previously admitted that Morelos could return to the team for Thursday night’s match.

The player was taking off with a gash above his knee after a follow-through by Dundee United defender Ryan Edwards which never even drew a foul, let alone a red card.

The Gers gaffer also talked up the possibility of Nigerian international Leon Balogun making the cut.

“It’s something that we will certainly look into but in terms of preparation and trusting how my staff go about things this is the first time we have had a day like this when things have gone against us,” said Gerrard [Daily Record].

“I don’t think we can do anything about Alfredo’s injury. It’s an impact injury.

“We think Leon will be fine. We think we got it before it was an injury, it was a bit of tightness and we made the right decision to take him out of the team.

“I think we have come away with two injuries rather than four, but let’s see how the next few days go.”

Rangers travel to Gibraltar for the second time in as many seasons having dumped St. Joseph’s 4-0 on the rock last season before drubbing them 6-0 at Ibrox.
