Rangers take on Cypriot side Aris Limassol in the Europa League this Thursday. Here are the players who will miss the clash through injury or suspension.
Philippe Clement and his coaching staff will be heading into this European fixture with hopes his first-team squad will play better than they did at the weekend.
Rangers’ lack of quality in front of goal and subsequently drew 1-1 to Aberdeen, failing to capitalise on the fact Celtic also dropped points.
Now, attention turns to the Europa League, where the Gers will be desperate to get another much-needed three points as they look to qualify for the knockout stages. Here are the names who will not play any part.
Steven Davis injury latest – Cruciate Ligament Injury

The Rangers legend hasn’t been seen since mid-December last year following a devastating cruciate ligament injury which has threatened to end the Ulsterman’s career.
He could be back as soon as December – a whole year after the incident. Who knows whether he’ll be the same player, or in fact even whether he’ll carry on at Ibrox.
Predicted Return Date: Early December 2023
Nicolas Raskin injury latest – Ankle Injury

Nicolas Raskin suffered an ankle injury in late October and hasn’t featured since. He was painfully stretchered off in the late Scottish Premiership victory.
Raskin has been making a gradual recovery but is still out of the frame for the Europa League clash. He should hopefully be back in due time.
Predicted Return Date: Early December 2023
Connor Goldson – Suspension

The Ibrox vice-captain received a late yellow card in the 2-1 win over Sparta Prague.
As a result, Rangers will have to overcome Cypriot side Aris Limassol without their vocal defensive leader and it is a blow to the club’s chances.
Return Date: 1 game
