Rangers have been handed a Danilo injury boost as the striker shares an image of himself returning to the Rangers Training Centre on Instagram.

The Brazilian striker, 24, has been at home recovering every since a nasty clash with St Johnstone defender Liam Gordon in a 2-0 win last month.

Danilo had put his head in where it hurts to nod the opener home for the club before a fractured cheekbone forced him off the McDiarmid Park pitch.

Now the striker has taken a substantial step forward in his recovery as he uploaded an image of the gates of the Rangers Training Centre to his Instagram stories (02/10).

A few hours later, Danilo would then go on to share a clip from Instagram user Castro.Rander where the account holder claims “the man is about to come back, let’s go.”

Rangers handed Danilo Instagram injury boost

Rangers fans will be delighted to hear the Brazilian striker is back in training but it’s all a little too late for Michael Beale who has suffered as a result of injuries at Ibrox.

Following the 3-1 defeat to Aberdeen at the weekend, Rangers are now facing up to ten first-teamers being out with injury and it’s a situation which heaped the pressure on the outgoing manager.

Danilo was the most expensive of Michael Beale’s summer signings, Rangers signing a reported £6m deal to bring the Brazilian Eredivisie winner from Feyenoord.

But alongside the other Rangers newboys it hasn’t really happened for the striker so far who, despite showing flashes at the club, has saw his start to life at Ibrox hampered by injury.

Rangers will now be hoping Danilo can return from injury sooner than planned and the posts on Instagram are certainly positive for the forward.

Outgoing Rangers boss Michael Beale had previously suggested it could take up to two months before we see Danilo back on the pitch in a Rangers jersey.
